Peach & Blue Laundry Services ("we," "us," "our") operates a mobile application used internally by our staff and administrators to manage pickup, processing, and delivery of laundry orders. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how it is used, and the rights available to you under applicable law, including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act).

How this app works: this application is used only by Peach & Blue staff and administrators — it is not installed or used directly by our customers. Customers interact with us by phone call or WhatsApp, and our staff enter customer information into the app on their behalf when scheduling a pickup. This policy covers both groups: information about our customers (processed through the app but not entered by them directly) and information about our staff/admin users (who log into the app themselves).

2. Information we collect

About our customers (entered by staff/admin, not self-submitted):

Name, phone number, and WhatsApp number
Delivery address (flat/unit number and building or area)
Order details: garments, services requested, quantities, and pricing
Payment status and payment method (cash, UPI, net banking, or credit card)
Order and delivery history
For customers on a monthly billing arrangement: running account balance and billing history

About our staff and admin users (who log into the app directly):

Name and phone number (used for account login via one-time password — we do not use or store passwords)
Role (staff or admin) and branch assignment
Records of actions taken in the app (e.g. orders created, status updates, payments recorded) — kept for accountability and to resolve any billing questions

Automatically collected: basic technical information needed to operate the app (device notifications via Firebase Cloud Messaging for staff/admin devices).

We do not collect payment card details directly. Card and online payment processing is handled by Razorpay, a licensed Indian payment gateway; we only receive a transaction reference and payment status from them, never full card or bank account numbers.

3. How we use this information

To schedule, process, and deliver laundry orders
To generate invoices and process payments
To send order updates, invoices, payment links, delivery confirmations, and receipts via WhatsApp and SMS
To maintain accurate billing records, including for customers on a monthly billing arrangement
To allow our staff to do their jobs and our admins to manage pricing, staff, and billing

We do not use customer or staff information for advertising, and we do not sell personal information to any third party.

4. Who we share information with

We share limited information with the following service providers, solely to operate our business:

These providers only receive the information necessary to perform their specific function and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes. We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Peach & Blue, our staff, or our customers.

5. Data storage and security

Information is stored on secure, encrypted cloud infrastructure. All data transmitted between the app and our servers is encrypted (HTTPS/TLS). Access to customer and order information is restricted based on role — for example, staff can only view orders they are responsible for, and certain financial information (such as discount arrangements) is visible only to administrators.

While we take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, no system can be guaranteed 100% secure.

6. Data retention

We retain order, payment, and billing records for a minimum period of 8 financial years following the end of the financial year in which the transaction occurred, as necessary to provide our services and to meet our statutory record-keeping obligations under the Indian Companies Act, 2013 and the Income Tax Act.

7. Your rights

Under the DPDP Act, individuals whose personal information we hold have the right to:

Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information
Request deletion of your information, subject to our legal obligation to retain certain records
Withdraw consent for communications, where applicable

8. Children's privacy

Our services are intended for adults arranging laundry services for their households. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
